Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. Ana began learning to play the piano and sing at an early age alongside her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. After moving into America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she moved to Southern California. She currently performs the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
